1950s reproduction of The Four Freedoms- Freedom From Fear by Norman Rockwell, including text by Stephen Vincent Benet
While the Four Freedoms images were originally printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office as propaganda posters during WWII, the Curtis Publishing Company (the parent company of The Saturday Evening Post) began issuing high-quality lithograph and offset print reproductions in the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s to meet massive post-war public demand.
Signature on the back of the frame helped approximate the date, it was signed in 1955.
Condition: pre-owned. The print itself is an excellent condition. The frame is in very sturdy condition the back matting is coming loose and there are some scuff marks on the front of the frame itself.
