The third pattern uniforms were the only pre-ripstop version that was widely issued, and so, barring early war subjects, this is a very nice option for reenactment or display. In my opinion, they're much nicer looking than the ripstop type! Most of these seem to have 1967 contract dates. This one also has an interesting style of name tape!
The tags are gone, but it measures out to a 42" chest with a 24" sleeve. The branch tape has been removed, there is a small rip at the top corner of the right lower pocket, and there's a bit of staining on the back (looks like rust to me).

I am a longtime collector of Cold War military equipment. However, as the need to pay for grad school looms on the horizon, I am now selling off a good portion of my collection. Follow me to see my latest listings, and grab some fascinating history (and other stuff) at great prices! I am a collector more than a salesman, and so I'm quite happy to do whatever I can to ensure that you get what you're looking for.
It should be noted that I am a bit colorblind. As such, every so often there may be an issue where I've missed spots of mild discoloration or incorrectly described an item's shade. I do my best to accurately represent the items I sell, but please let the pictures be the judge, and if there's a problem, don't hesitate to get in touch with me about it.
I'm always happy to combine shipping! Unfortunately makes that process difficult sometimes, but if you can't request an invoice, go ahead and buy what you want and I will refund the difference!
