A striking and highly unusual vintage Soviet-era coin bank featuring a fantastic Space Age composition with a translucent amber rocket flying around a stylized crescent moon / celestial form.
The design immediately evokes the optimism of the Soviet space era, combining polished metal, sculptural orbital lines and a bright amber-colored rocket into an almost architectural miniature.
The main body is made of polished metal and has a coin slot on the upper section. It stands on a dark molded pedestal base, while the upper sculptural element consists of a metal crescent, orbital ring and translucent amber plastic rocket.
