Vintage Walden-Worcester 1/2” Drive Socket Set - 37 Pieces & Metal Toolbox. This was an estate find. I am not completely sure all pieces belong to set but I think most do; however, I am selling what is shown in photos as is.
Per my research online, this is a heavy-duty vintage socket set manufactured by Walden-Worcester (later known as Stevens-Walden). This complete layout likely dates back to the 1920s to 1930s, featuring a substantial industrial-grade/heavy-duty 1/2-inch drive.
The set includes its original metal storage box, a broad collection of heavy-wall 6-point hex sockets, a heavy ratcheting handle, speeder bars/extensions, and a universal joint adapter. These sets were famously produced in Worcester, Massachusetts, and were the premier choice for wrenching on early automobiles like the Ford Model T and industrial machinery.
