Vintage hand-painted wooden mushroom coin banks featuring a black lacquer finish with red floral and cream leaf folk art designs. This matching pair is believed to be Mexican export folk art from the 1960s–1980s.
Both banks are solid with intact coin slots and bright original paint. One bank has a removable top for easy coin access; the other top does not come off. There is asmall chip on the bottom of one bank(see photos). No cracks or repairs. Light age-appropriate surface wear only.
