Speculaas (sometimes called Springerle) hand-carved wooden cookie mold likely from the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany. I believe this to be vintage, but it could possibly be an antique. There are numbers on the back that look like 1929 or 1949 but I can\'t make them out clearly (circled in one of the pictures).
This is a dark-toned wood board contains 12 unique molds in a whimsical folk art motif. It would be a great piece of nostalgic kitchen decor! Traditional Speculaas molds often have bold stylized designs. The cookie is meant to be a thin and cookie once baked.
