1970s Jalisco Mexican folk art, beautiful matching set of four terricota handmade and hand-painted nesting pottery dishes.
Each dish features a colorful landscape design with stylized trees, flowers, rolling hills, and decorative borders, making every piece a unique work of art.
The oblong dishes are fully glazed inside and out, including the bases, with "Made in Mexico" impressed into the clay beneath the glaze.

Small: 7.5" x 6.5"
Good vintage condition. Wear is consistent for their age. There is crazing on one side of the largest dish. The edges show wear on all dishes. The hand-painted decoration remains vivid with only light signs of age and normal use.
