Up for sale is a fantastic, highly collectible mixed lot of 10 vintage 1970s Imperial Margarine promotional plastic tubs complete with their original matching lids.
ONE-OWNER COLLECTION: These are coming directly from the original owner's home! They have been carefully kept and preserved in a single household since they were originally acquired in the 1970s.
If you grew up in the era of the famous "you get a crown" Imperial Margarine commercials, these nostalgic kitchen containers will take you right back. This collection includes three of the classic color variations, making it an excellent instant starter set or expansion for a mid-century kitchen display.
Lot Includes:
• 7 x White Tubs with the classic Gold/Brown Crown pattern
• 2 x White Tubs with the rare Blue Crown pattern
• 1 x Solid Harvest Gold Tub with embossed Crowns
Condition:
• Excellent Vintage Condition: Because these have had only one owner, this set has been wonderfully preserved over the decades.
• Graphics: The crown graphics are remarkably bright, crisp, and intact with minimal to no fade.
• Structure: No cracks, splits, melting, or brittle edges. The plastic remains flexible and functional.
• Lids: All 10 tubs include their original, proper-fitting lids that seal tightly.
• Cleanliness: Thoroughly washed and ready for display or use. (Embossed on the bottom as Top-Rack Dishwasher Safe!)
