A vintage Italian ceramic ashtray with a bold geometric mosaic design framed by a deep black glaze and hand-applied gold accents. Produced during the mid-century era, the piece reflects the decorative export pottery that became popular in Italy during the 1960s and 1970s. While originally designed as an ashtray, its sculptural form also works well as a catchall for jewelry, keys, or other small objects.

Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. Light wear to the gold decoration is consistent with age and use. The textured center exhibits intentional glaze crazing from the manufacturing process. Please review the photographs for details.
