Vintage Italian genuine alabaster trinket jewelry box, beautifully hand-carved in Italy. This substantial, footed vanity box features a rich, highly polished brown and butterscotch marbled stone finish with deeply veined natural patterns flowing throughout the lid and body. The box is elegantly structured with an ornate, detailed brass rim band, a sturdy rear hinge, and sits securely on three heavily detailed brass lion claw feet. The underside retains its authentic, original gold foil label which proudly reads "Genuine Alabaster, Hand Carved, Made in Italy.
It is in excellent vintage, pre-owned condition with a clean interior, smooth hinge function, and a brilliant glossy luster,showing only minimal, light signs of age-appropriate display wear, no major chips or cracks.
