Up for sale is a rare antique metal postage stamp holder and stamps from the late 19th century. This clever mechanical pocket accessory was designed to protect and dispense postage stamps. It features a unique sliding drawer mechanism that reveals the stamp Embossed with "C & D EAST" in a decorative border.

Inside Slide: Stamped with "MADE BY / MIDLAND / SUPPLY CO." and the May 1888 patent date (originally designed by J.H. Breese of condition. The metal shows a natural aged patina and minor surface wear consistent with its 100+ year history. The mechanical sliding drawer is still functional.
