Vtg Large Ashanti Stool Hand Carved Single Log Wooden Ghana 19” African Art. Large original and authentic. The wood of the base is showing some shallow rot/damage. This item came from my uncle’s collection. He lived in the East Village in NYC from the early 1970s until the 1990s and purchased this from one of the many African art vendors that would set iut their wares near 5th Avenue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.
