Vintage Korex Electro-Match tabletop cigarette lighter featuring a striking black spherical Space Age design with gold-tone trim and five-foot pedestal base. Made in Hong Kong and dating to the 1970s.
Battery-powered spark ignition with removable lighter wand. Tested with batteries and produces a strong visible spark when the wand is depressed and withdrawn. Not tested with lighter fluid.
The battery compartment is exceptionally clean, with no significant battery corrosion or leakage evident. Interior polarity markings and contacts are clean and well preserved.
Marked ELECTRO-MATCH® at the top and MADE IN HONG KONG on the underside. An old “SEPT. 1976” label remains attached to the bottom.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related surface scratches, scuffs, tarnish and finish wear, particularly to the gold-tone center band and metal components. Original removable wand is present. Please review photos closely for condition.
