This piece is a stunning, large colorful centerpiece from the 1960s. BRILLIANT COLOR!! This authentic mid-century modern grape cluster features vibrant magenta translucent lucite/acrylic/resin grapes beautifully wired onto a natural driftwood stalk. In the late 50s and 60s well-designed homes had one of these in the living room and usually the den, too.
💥 RARE FEATURE: COLOR REFLECTION FROM ALL GRAPES 💥
The composition of the vintage resin creates an incredible, bright magenta glow in any kind of light. The grapes seem to SPARKLE!! Perfect for extra special MCM display or for glassware collectors. The grapes in this cluster are larger than most by about 1/3 in size, and all are uniform in color. The photos make some grapes look red, but they are all the same magenta color.

CONDITION REPORT:
Excellent vintage condition. The resin grape spheres are glossy, vibrant, and securely wired to the heavy wood base. Minor, expected, superficial, light surface wear consistent with age, but no missing grapes or loose wiring. Natural variations in the wood and resin colors are part of its mid-century handmade charm. One grape has a small nick on it. See the close-up photo. You would never notice, if I didn't say anything.
