Vintage Mid-Century Japanese Mixed Metal Smoker's Companion Set – Incomplete / For Restoration. Beautiful vintage post-war Japanese tobacciana companion tabletop set. Crafted from heavy mixed metals (often referred to as antimony ware) with a rich copper/bronze-toned finish, this piece features gorgeous high-relief imagery including a traditional multi-tiered pagoda on the box lid, Mount Fuji landscape styling on the right, and a traditional figure standing alongside a garden lantern.

This item is being sold AS-IS / INCOMPLETE for collection, display, or parts restoration. The music box sticks a little when you open the lid it’s supposed to play, but you have to pull that little rod up a little bit to get it to work after you open the lid; it needs fixing.
Missing Pieces: It does not include the removable table lighter unit that nests into the circular loop on the right side. It is also missing the inner removable bridge/insert basin for the ashtray. Cosmetic Condition: Exhibits authentic vintage wear, surface oxidation, and age-related patina consistent with mid-century metalwork. Please look closely at all photos to evaluate the visual condition.

This remains a fantastic, heavily detailed display piece of Showa-era design or an excellent replacement base if you already own the matching lighter and inserts!
