Size 17.5" long from top of head to tip of tail. 6" wide across wings.
Features a gorgeous handmade paper mache' Macaw Parrot that has bene completely hand painted and lacquered. Stunning jewel toned colors of red, yellow, turquoise, and black with shading and the traditional Tonala-style black detailed swirls and dots.

This particular parrot is quite magnificent- he has a happy, personality-filled expression and his pose and coloration are outstanding. These are getting harder and harder to find in such great shape. Weighty and beautifully made.
Excellent condition, no nicks chips scratches or flaking to paint, no fading, and no damage or repair to the paper mache'. He does have a small round hole deliberately placed at the time he was made [NOT damage] in between his feet to accommodate a wooden or metal dowel [not included]. These are easily available and would allow him to be placed in a vase or even stuck into the soil of a plant. His feet are also curved so that he could be placed on a horizontal dowel [like a perch] as well. Many options.
