Vintage Set Pressed Depression Glass SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS Glass Lids w/Undertray
You will receive:
2 footed salt/pepper shakers with 2 original glass lid caps. Also included is a matching glass undertray which holds each shaker in place.
Circa 1930s, genuine Art Deco style. They appear to be most likely made by Fostoria, but I cannot find the pattern and so I cannot guarantee that as fact.
Magnificent footed glass shakers in clear pressed depression glass. The glass has slanted ribbed lines with a \'sash\' cutting across the diagonal which give them a softly striped appearance. Glass lids are CLEAR and screw on securely.
Undertray features 2 handles, a pressed diamond pattern on the underside, and 2 depressed hexagonal areas which hold each shaker separately and prevent them from hitting together.
Size Approx.3.25\" tall with lid cap. Footed base is 1.75\" across. Glass cap is 1\" diameter and .75\" high, with 7 holes
Tray is 4.75\" x 2.25\"
They are quite substantial and heavy
Excellent Condition- ALL PIECES ARE FLAWLESS AND PRISTINE. No chips, nicks, cracks, repair, scratches, or flaws to the shakers, the lid caps, and the undertray. Extremely clean inside and out. Tray has a depressed molded area that holds each shaker.
A stunning set, they would look great on display and are very usable.
