Family Collection - My Grandfather's Clown Prints from the 1960s.
You are buying the exact set of 12 vintage Michele clown art prints that belonged to my grandfather.
According to my mom, he started collecting these when a few small ones came as free premiums inside potato chip bags in the early 1960s, and he loved them so much he ordered the full portfolio of 12 large prints with the gold borders.
They have been stored flat in our family home ever since. I am now selling them to find them a new home where they will be appreciated.

• Complete set of 12 DIFFERENT clown lithographs - no duplicates
• Each one is a different character/expression - sad clown, happy clown, marionette, upside-down, with broom, etc.
• Artist signed in print "Michele" - the famous 1960s MCM clown artist
• Approx. 8" x 10" each on heavy textured cardstock with gold border
• Bright, vibrant colors - the classic mid-century circus / kitschy art style
Condition: Good vintage estate condition. Colors are still very bright. Some have light age toning / foxing spots on the white border from 60 years of storage, one has a small crease on bottom edge. No major tears, no writing on fronts.

From a clean, non-smoking home in Portland, Texas. Shipped flat protected between cardboard. I will pack them like they are my grandfather's.
