Franco Prussian War Era Austrian Model 1854 Short Sword measuring 24.5" OAL, blade 18.25". Shows age patina, some sharpening, and some small nicks/dings on the blade edge. Solid, no looseness anywhere, the Ricasso is stamped, "w/AD (which stands for WKC of Solingen) year is 1854 and makers mark, "OLIGS", also has the proof stamp. Obverse side is stamped with 185B and the guard shows unit Infantry markings. The left handle shows some loss by the pommel area. No Scabbard. See photos.
