This is for abeautiful vintage Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF) German Green Glass Champagne Bucket, complete with its originalsilver-plated holder. This elegant Art Deco piece serves as a champagne bucket, ice bucket, wine cooler, or wine chiller and makes a sophisticated addition to any home bar or collection.
Produced byWMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik), one of Germany\'s most respected manufacturers of fine metalware and mounted glass, this piece dates to approximately the1920s–1930s, during the height of theArt Decomovement. WMF was renowned for combining beautifully designed glass with expertly crafted silver-plated mounts, and this example perfectly reflects that tradition.
The richgreen glass insertcontrasts beautifully with the oxidized silver-plated holder, creating an elegant presentation for entertaining.
The underside is marked:
- OX– indicating WMF\'s specialoxidized silver-plated finish, which gives the metal its rich, darker patina.
- 10– denoting the silver plating thickness of10 grams of silverdeposited over the base metal.
