A very nice WW2 print (from early 2000\'s) portraying April 1943 Japanese Admiral \"Yamamoto\'s Last Flight\" event, when US Forces (out of Guadalcanal) in the air above Bougainville, New Guinea shot down his plane. His GM-41 transport aircraft was shot down by a group of 18 US Army Air Corps P-38G fighter aircraft. This was deemed to be payback for his role in the heinous Pearl Harbor attack about 16 months prior.This colorful print measures 16\" x 12\" and ready to be framed as desired. The artist initialed the print. Marked as made by \"VOKES\".Item has been kept in a soft plastic sheet for stored a long time/kept out of sun. No stray marks or fading.
