Thisis a very good looking BRIGHT blade bayonet with a grayish hue. Ithas a very good original factory blade edge that is notsharpwith very little wear, and a pointed tip. The blade looks very goodoverall with some minor marks and light scratches, minor dark surfacepatina spotting and some minor patina surface wear. Stamped: ROSSRIFLE Co QUEBEC PATENTED 1907 and onthe other side, upwardbroad arrow in a C, a manufacturer date of 12/16,11 a symbol over 4and several other markings on the top and bottom ofthe handle.The wood handle is secure and is in very good condition with minor tonormal wear. Theoriginal mark centered between the 2 screws is partially visible oneach side. Nocracks. The pommel and guard look very good with minor wear and minorsurface patina wear. Thereare several stampings on the end of the pommel. Thepush button works as expected. Theguard has some minor patina with a spot on the guard bottombeing a dark red-brown. Fullyfunctional. Roughly 14 5/8 inches long with a blade of 10 inches.
