These binoculars date to 1944 and show substantial age-appropriate cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs and paint loss around the metal edges and other surfaces. The textured exterior covering remains present and the original-style straps shown in the photographs are included.
Optical condition: The binoculars transmit an image, but inspection of the optics shows internal haze/contamination, particularly around the perimeter. The exact cause has not been determined and the binoculars have not been professionally cleaned or serviced. I am therefore not representing the optics as clean or restored.
