The stopper and retaining cord are present as shown in the photographs.
Japanese markings/stamps and the previous owner's name are visible on the canteen body. Please see the close-up photographs for details.
Condition
This is an old military collectible and shows considerable age-related wear.
The metal body has scratches, oxidation, discoloration, stains, paint loss and other surface wear.
The canvas harness and shoulder strap have staining, fraying and deterioration consistent with age.
The stopper and retaining cord also show age-related wear.
