This handsome piece was produced by F. Broggi of Milan, one of Italy\'s most respected silversmiths, and bears the maker\'s mark on the reverse.
The handle is engraved with the emblem of the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force), featuring the crowned eagle above the Savoy shield with cross, making it a fascinating piece of Italian military history. Such flatware was likely intended for use in military officers\' messes, official canteens, or Air Force facilities during the Kingdom of Italy.
The spoon is silver-plated and retains a beautiful aged patina, adding to its authentic period character. It remains in very good antique condition, with normal surface wear consistent with age and use. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the item description.
