WWII Named USN Legion of Merit Medal, Citation, Dog Tags & More - Framed ~ NAVY For Sale

For your consideration is a Framed Display for Lt. Robert Kerr, U.S. Naval Reserve. Lt. Kerr served during WWII. The display has Lt. Kerr’s Legion of Merit Medal, Shoulder Boards, Navy Lapel Pin, Dog Tags, Ribbon Bars, Hat Badge, a photo of Admiral Hewitt at the actual award ceremony pinning the LoM on Lt. Kerr, and the original award citation letter which is hand signed by Admiral Hewitt. The hat badge in the bottom right corner is partially gold. The anchors are 1/10th, 12K gold.

The display case is made of wood and it’s dimensions are 18.25” long, 17.25” wide and 2” deep. It appears to be custom made (with the front edges of carved to look like a nautical rope) and was made to hang on the wall. The condition of the 83 year old items inside this case ranges from very good to great. The citation letter has some light staining around the edges.
