• Rank: Technician 3rd Grade (Tec 3): three chevrons with a T, on a blue backing.
  
• Ribbon bar: Good Conduct Medal and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign with 3 bronze campaign stars.
  
• Honorable discharge patch ("ruptured duck") on the right chest, U.S. enlisted collar disc, two overseas service bars on the left cuff (one year overseas).
  

The 28th was the Pennsylvania National Guard division. It fought in Normandy, the Hurtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge. No name found.
