Monts, Army Serial No. 38505032, with an Arkansas connection to Hope, Arkansas.The Soldier’s Individual Pay Record is W.D., A.G.O. Form No. 28, dated March 26, 1942. The soldier’s record was opened October 30, 1945 and shows approximately 2 years, 7½ months of service.Also included is his original U.S. Army Immunization Register, bearing the same name and Army serial number. The register contains handwritten medical entries dating primarily from 1943–1945, including vaccinations/immunizations for smallpox, typhoid, tetanus, yellow fever, influenza, cholera and a handwritten plague entry.The grouping also includes the original War Department / Adjutant General mailing envelope.This is an especially interesting WWII grouping because the records are identified to an individual soldier, rather than being unused blank military forms.Condition: Original vintage condition with age toning, staining, folds, edge/corner wear and other expected signs of military use and storage.
