This specific pair is a fantastic survivor from the wartime era.
It features the rare, original yellow "COATED OPTICS - CLEAN LENSES CAREFULLY" sticker intact on the prism plate—a feature often lost to time. The identification plate is crisply marked with the serial number 165607 and the 1943 production date.
What’s Included:
* Authentic 1943 Bausch & Lomb Mark 28 Mod 0 Binoculars
* Original black leather neck strap
* Original Bausch & Lomb embossed black pebble-grain hard shell carrying case
Condition Notes
* Body / Cosmetics: The black textured finish shows honest military wear/patina consistent with age and service use, with no structural cracks or damage. Please see photos for exact condition.
* Optics: The glass is relatively clear with minor internal dust
* Case: The original hard case is structurally sound. The leather features standard aging and wear, but the Bausch & Lomb USA logo remains clear and legible.
This is an exceptional addition for any WWII militaria, naval history, or vintage optics collector.
