Original WWII U.S. Army Air Forces Kit, First-Aid, Aeronautic, Medical Department Catalog No. 9776500 pattern, with an assortment of vintage U.S. military medical contents.The khaki canvas aeronautical first aid pouch features the original-style “KIT, FIRST AID AERONAUTIC U.S.” markings, red cross, three-sided zipper, interior compartments and four Lift-the-Dot mounting fasteners on the reverse. These fasteners allowed the kit to be mounted inside military aircraft and removed when needed.Included are the vintage medical supplies shown in the photographs, including military field dressings, gauze/compresses, eye dressing supplies, Johnson & Johnson adhesive bandage packaging, safety pins, bottles and other items.PLEASE NOTE: The contents appear to span multiple periods and should NOT be considered a complete or untouched original WWII loadout. Some components are consistent with WWII manufacture while others are later U.S. military replacements, including items from the 1960s/Vietnam era. Everything is being sold together exactly as pictured.The pouch shows considerable authentic age and use, including staining, discoloration, fading and general wear.
