Watt Pottery produced its distinctive Moon & Stars yellowware during the 1930s–1940s, prior to the company\'s better-known hand-painted patterns. “Moon & Stars” is a collector\'s name for the molded design, which was produced with several colored glazes, including this attractive green.

Pie plate measures approximately 8.5\" across by 2.5\" tall. It has crazing, which is typical of vintage Watt pottery. There are some marks along the rim. On one side, there is also what appears to be a small amount of excess clay from the manufacturing process that was glazed over during firing. Overall, it is in very good vintage condition for a yellowware pottery piece of this age, with age-related wear and imperfections as noted.Box and plant are used to provide size perspective and not included in the listing.
