Trixie on the Classics — What a Lovely Mask
This image comes from “Trixie on the Classics,” a recurring series I created for Modern Ferret magazine.
In this one, Trixie finds herself among elegantly dressed masked figures and thinks the man is complimenting her mask.
“What a lovely mask you have.”
Trixie replies:
“Thank you.”
The woman replies:
“Thank you.”
The slightly crude edge around Trixie is intentional and part of the original collage style of the series.
This listing is for a physical 8x10 inch photographic print of the complete “Trixie on the Classics: What a lovely mask” image shown here, including the title and dialogue. It is not a digital download.

- Professionally prepared for shipping. Your print is individually packaged with a rigid backing board that helps keep it flat and protects the edges and corners during handling.

Caring for Your Print
For the longest possible life, display the photograph indoors and out of direct sunlight. Avoid placing it immediately beside fireplaces, radiators or heating vents, and avoid areas with unusually high humidity. Framing the print also provides additional protection from handling, dust and environmental exposure.

This is me with my ferret Marshmallow around 1993, shortly before I started Modern Ferret magazine. Marshmallow was one of the three original Modern Ferret ferrets, along with Sabrina and Ralph.
Producing the magazine pushed me to improve both my photography and design skills—often while crawling around on the floor at ferret level with a camera.
Since then, I’ve continued photographing animals and creating other visual work.
