ZIPPO 50\"S \"JENKINTOWN STEEL CO.\" VINTAGE ADVERTISING LIGHTER W/ BOX - USED For Sale

This item is a used 1950 - 1957 ZIPPO Lighter advertising the \"JENKINTOWN STEEL COMPANY\" in Pennsylvania.The front side of the lighter has the etched words \"Jenkintown Steel Company - 433 York Road Jenkintown, Pa. -Turner-1650\".The reverse side is blank. This 69+-year-old used lighter shows age with some light surface marks, scratches and surface wear and small dings in the top and bottom and a dent in the lower back and the front cover. The wick is discolored, but it does have the distinctive ZIPPO click. The black and red colors are still visible, but some of the paint is faded. The flint wheel is very difficult to turn. I am selling it as used and \"as is condition\" in case there is something I didn\'t see.The bottom has PAT. 2517191 and Pat. Pending indicating the outer case is from the1950\'s.The insert has the same Pat. No.2517191 as the outer casing.No box or paperwork with this lighter. I am selling it as is. This is a used Zippo lighter with some imperfections but still a very nice addition to any Zippo collection.Please consider the photos as part of the description.My photography skills keep showing a shadow on the lighter which is not there.All of my lighters have been stored in Ryker display cases for almost 40 years.
