We just came back from an awesome antiques sale where we purchased a lot of quality european antiques, and this was in the box of early French textiles
This listing is for the small bonnet shown. We are kind of unsure how it works, but each of those old strings work to gather the fabric. Does the ruffle go over the face or down the back? Is it for doll or infant?
It measures approx 13" all the way around the edge which goes between the ruffle and the cap at some parts.
It is nice and clean and a couple small holes, and a couple stains on the round part, but very sturdy, secure, clean, stong anyway. Please except it not to be perfect, but very good.
off white, ecru color. The polka dots on the lace are raised.
