antique victorian scrap book album ~ Sunbonnet Sue Comics ~ 1800’s - 1930’s For Sale

Measures 12” X 8.5” Scrapbook full of Sunbonnet Sue in black & white. she is known in the quilting circles. Her comic poetry dates between 1800 - 1930. This scrap book has other clipping of Bible studies. The pages are tied together as they did back then with a ribbon or yarn. The binder is in good shape, could use condition. I’m not sure if it’s leather or what it’s made from.

I have also included an antique photo album. It is leather bound with a couple dozen empty pages. Does not appear to ever been used. It has a beautiful hand painted picture of the Alamo. Came from Alamo San Antonio, Texas. Does have in pen To Arlene From Ken. It is bound with a leather lace. The back is cardboard? It does have some damage ( see pictures for details).
