Here is a likely rare vintage Franklin Mint item for those who like to collect them. This is an 8" plate, sterling silver, with etched design by A. Y. Jackson showing Maynooth, Ontario. Jackson is a noted Canadian artist; this was produced by the Franklin Mint Canada LTD in 1976 with a mintage of only 133 total produced! So likely not many of these survive.
8" diameter plate, bottom reads MAYNOOTH, ONTARIO (Signature) A.Y. Jackson THE FRANKLIN MINT CANADA LTD STERLING SILVER LIMITED EDITION 0066 (serial number), 1976. The plate weighs 180 grams of sterling silver.
With original wood box measuring ~ 9 3/4" x 9 3/4" x 1 7/8", with original COA - Information Folded thick paper sheet, has some of the original sealing plastic but that has been torn.
