View Larger Image   Lap, Buggy Robe , Antique   Description: An antique wool lap robe or buggy robe. This would have been used for warmth while riding in a sleigh or perhaps a horse drawn buggy. The wool backing does sustain some damage as does the edges. Normal wear for the age of this item. I believe from the 1930's era. Decorated with 3 animals, I believe they are foxes. and a bright floral design. Each animal is missing one eye. A plush or velvet like top and the back is definitely wool. One tear that I think could be mended. Please view images carefully. Tag reads Chase.
