This hand-painted Wooden Framed Mirror was made in the Central Asian region of the former Soviet Union. There is wear on the face of one figure and wear on the face and body of one horseman on the top panel. However, with the piece being a very early XX Century piece it is in remarkable condition. The raised panels open to reveal the mirror which does show age but no scratches or cracks. From the crown-like top to the very bottom of the regional Folk Art, incredible detail in colors of ochre, blue, green and white shows men hunting while woman tend to the adornment of their home with foliage.
