This is A Seldom offered SET......

Bottom pattern # 1060E and the lid is #1070 (Lid has the patent dates from 1917 to 1922), and the Full Wagner Ware Logo. This Lid has no markings on the top - and just has the concentric circles design. See photos.

Measures:11 3/4\" across x2 3/8\" High

This piece of Cast Iron has been expertly cleaned, and mineral oil applied. Mineral oil is for display only, since it does not turn sour or rancid. If purchasing for daily use, you will need to WASH with hot water and a mild soap, DRY very well, and APPLY the cooking oil of your choice. Most people use canola oil or peanut oil. The mineral oil helps to lift old carbon from the surface of the cast iron, so if you just wipe with a paper towel you may see some of this dark carbon in the clear mineral oil.

Wood or Gas fired stoves or ranges are preferred for use with this vintage cast iron cookware. With proper and consistent care this piece of cast iron should last a lifetime. Most all of the vintage cast iron has some type of tiny Factory irregularities due to the casting process.
