Up for sale DIRECTLYOUT OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTIONis this very rare Victorian special, & very mint, English art glass NAILSEA miniature oil lamp. Number 1 (of 2). When I am calling it pristine condition to me that equals= mint= undamaged= flawless in every respect. (805) 388-5857 WESTERN TIME.

Sellers Note: This lamp (2) is near mint, the only damage is in the peg silver base candlestick which has lost just a bit of its silver near the bottom~ The rest of the lamp including the matching satin chimneys, the burner, & the rest are in totally mint condition~

Up for your consideration is this Extra special very prestine art glass Nailsea antique miniature oil lamp from the 1880\'s and has been authenticated in Marjorie Hulsebus\'s first book, Miniature Victorian Lamps, Figure, 412. Both lamps are matched just about perfectly in every respect. It really is an exceptional lamp, based on all phases of the manufacturing process and fine care it was provided through the many years. The Nailsea design is all evenly spaced & the same all over not only in this lamp but in both lamps The color match between the base & shade could not be better individually as well as a matched pair. Each ruffle in the shade is perfect! No burst bubbles, in fact there is only a few tiny tiny bubble that I could find. The top of the shades are uniformly perfect. The color of the base & shades both has the same glow. The burner works perfectly with the original wick and is in like new condition. The original colored chimneys are both in mint condition and match identically. All pieces are original to the lamps. Even the candlesticks are original~ Most pegs have spacers to hold the lamp securely, because the peg was made for the candlestick originally the fit could not be any more secure Again, there are nochips, cracks, discolorations anywhereor other problems.When the light shines through the base or shade its beauty shines through as well! I really love this lamps, the beauty, rareness, and the condition is phenomenal!! This is a short sale, so don\'t either lamp get away!! Oh yes, did I mention that the quality silver candlesticks were made by no other then Shiefeld! These lamp can be used on your finest table as felt (stil in excellent condion) was added somewhere in their history.
