About the artist:

Pencil Artist Robyn Cook grew up on a small farm in Ozark, Missouri. She first took interest in drawing when she was a young girl, sketching portraits of her family\'s horses and ponies. Cook\'s skill continued to grow as she practiced in her high school art classes and on her own, perfecting her hand in anatomy and wildlife.Today, her attention to detail and her ability to capture movement in still portraits has garnered great attention. Cook has been commissioned to create artwork for collectors nation-wide, and several of her pieces have been purchased for private collections. Cook was the recipient of the John Steven Jones Purchase Award and the Silver Medal Award in Drawing at the 26th Annual Bosque Art Classic for her work, \"Spring Time at Hale\'s.\" Her portrait, \"Bad Idea, Both Times\" won Best of Show at the Annual Western Spirit Art Show and Sale at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
