R.C. Sands' pipes are known to be fine smoking instruments, and this one looks to continue this legacy.
It bears the unique R.C. Sands logo. This pipe is in PRISTINE condition, with stunning 360° STRAIGHT GRAIN, a perfect stem, very crisp stampings.
JUST LOOK AT IT - PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!
This pipes thick walls will last a llifetime, and feel cool to the touch while smoking. It feels great in the hand and shows a wonderful attention to detail that will please the eye as well as the time spent smoking it!
RC Sands of Reynoldsburg, OH, "Chuck," as his friends knew him, made solid, crafted entirely by hand, pipes in what he called “the old school way” since 1998. I bought this pipe a few years later direct from Chuck because of the stunning grain and because he learned the craft from fellow Ohio pipe maker Tim West. Sadly, Raymond "Chuck" Sands passed away on September 28, 2022.
This pipe comes with a suede leather pipe sock / sleeve to protect your investment.
Markings: On the bottom of the shank is stamped a stylized RC LOGO (for R. C. SANDS.) All markings are as crisp as the day they were stamped.
