I must say you might not find another ashtray like this one. Itis a very rare ashtray from the historic 1906 Hotel Hayward which was one of the city's first elegant highrises and  had a billing that said "where special attention is given to ladies traveling alone."

The hotel housed the long forgotten famous 1920s  Rythem Room whose motto  was " just for fun," it fell into worse than disrepair over the years but is now being revitalized.
