Here we have a wonderful,antique, hand carved crown for a Madonna figure featuring masterful carving, old surface and gilded accents. Superior condition for its age with some minor losses, dings, scratches etc. A plug has been placed in the bottom to fill the hollow space where it would have sat on her headand a hanging bracket attached.Measures 4-1/4" wide x 3-3/8" tallx 2-5/8" deep. French, c.1750.
