Chimes every 15 minutes on double gong and at full hour number of hours on a single gong with very gentle typical for Lenzkirch clocks ting tang tone sequences are as follows:
At Full Hour - number of hours on a single gong
First quarter (quarter past)- single ting tang strike by both gong hammers one after another
Second quarter (half of hour) - double (twice) ting tang strike on both gongs one after another
Third quarter (quarter to) - Triple (three times ) ting tang strike on both gongs by both hammers one after another
And so on and on ..
