Book entitled: Mother Lode Gold Belt of California, written by Clarence August Logan and published in November 1934 by the State of California, Division of Mines as Bulletin No. 108. A thorough investigation of past and present mining operations on the Mother Lode. The book is organized by county, from El Dorado County south to Mariposa County, and includes summaries of each mine and prospect, including what is known of history, development, production, and geology.
Hardcover book with 240 pages, 33 illustrations, and 10 plates. The ten plates include four which are bound with the book and fold outward, and six which are loose and held in a pocket mounted on the rear endpaper. This copy complete with all six loose maps in rear pocket.
Condition: Binding in very good condition with light edgewear. Small stains at endpaper hinges, possibly rust from binding staples. Contents clean with no library markings or previous ownership markings. In-text fold-out plates and all six pocket maps in very good condition.
