• The map opens to 24" x 32"and has great detail on oldhighway alignments, withcartography byRand McNally.
• The map of New York is on one side, with an inset of is on the other side, with an inset of NewJersey.
• The map was published by Texaco in 1942 and isdated by the code number in the lower margin: X.4216. Population datais from the1940 census, and the gasoline tax rates are shown as of May 2, 1942.
• The front cover has the code A-42 and the wartimemessage: "Paper is Precious! Please do not throw this map away."
• Condition: The map is in very good, lightly usedcondition. There's a neat rubber-stamp imprint from a Texaco garage inWeatherly, Pennsylvania, and a couple of tiny chips have been mendedwith archival tape. Please seethe scans andfeel free to ask any questions.
