Thissale is foragreat, rareold booklet: The 68th Annual Calendar of the Freeport Woman's Club of Freeport, Illinois from 1962-1963! The club was organized in 1895.The bookletmeasures about 5 1/2" x4" and is27 pages long. The booklet has some wear from agebut it is in good condition overall(see photos).
The booklet contains lists of past presidents, officers, departments, committees, membership, in memoriam and more. It also contains the calendar for the year, the constitution of the club, and the annual report.
The calendar lists art, literature, etc. programs with Millard Roberts, Rosalind Graff, Catherine Emma, Norma Lee Browing, Lyn Allen, John Nuveen, Warner Williams, Helen Mahealani Williams, and more.Names mentioned in the booklet include the wives ofH. R. Osheroff, Dan Spielman, Lyle Grob, E. A. McCool, Thomas Wick, W. E. Goembel, Ford Zartman, Donald Olson, Carl Neyhard, Ena Chesney, Richard DeStefano, Blanche Heitter, Clifford Hageman, Robert Finkboner, Elmer Prasse, Erwin Clock, and many, many more.
