These are early Vietnam war black leather boots. These were boots that came mainly before the wide use of green jungle boots so commonly seen on soldiers during that war. These are dated 1966 and are a size 9 regular. The soles are made by BF Goodrich. The leather is well worn in with wrinkles everywhere on both boots. The soles are nearly worn flat with only the center where the logo is being the lightest worn spots. The nails are half there but is hard to tell with rocks and dirt being stuck in some of the holes. The stitching is complete on both boots and the leather isn t ripped or torn anywhere. The boots don t come with laces. The inside there are remains of a handwritten name JE Holland in blue pen ink which gives a more personal vibe to this pair of boots. These boots are still wearable but are pretty blown out so it s up to you on what you want to do with them.
