Robert Harry Kuykendall, also known asBobby Dall(born November 2, 1963),[1]is an American musician best known as the bassist for therockbandPoison.
Dall had ambitions of studying law, but ultimately turned to music instead. He began playing guitar but switched to bass at the age of 15. Dall later moved to Los Angeles withBret Michaels,Rikki Rockett, andMatt Smithto play with the band Paris, which later became known asPoison.
Poisonis an Americanglam metalband formed in 1983 inMechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The most successful incarnation of the band consists of lead singer and rhythm guitaristBret Michaels, drummerRikki Rockett, lead guitarist and backing vocalistC.C. DeVille, and bassistBobby Dall. The band achieved huge commercial success in the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s and has sold 30 million records in the United States and over 65 million albums worldwide.
